Tequila Mockingbird
Tequila Mockingbird were a four-piece band based in the Glasgow. At one point we were a folk band, but now we aren't even a band any more.
The Mockingbird comprised a Glen Miller-loving environmentalist hippie singer, an Afro-Cuban crazed organic-farming percussionist, a Neil Young-loving guitarist who lives in a permanent state of 1968 and a jazz-loving bass player who still thinks he's a drummer.
We have an album called Agora Mesmo (which is colloquial Brazilian Portuguese for 'here and now' - the name of a song on the album). You can e-mail us to buy a copy - cheap!

Fran Schöppler
Fran Schöppler is a Glasgow based singer-songwriter who describes her work as melancholic melodic pop. many years ago she was the singer in jangly Edinburgh indie band 'Jesse Garon and the Desperadoes'. You can find a couple of old videos of the Desperadoes on YouTube.
These days she plies her slightly darker hued wares with Mick Cooke of Belle and Sebastian, The Amphetameanies etc. on trumpet and flugel horn and me on the double bass. occasionally we have help from Helen Reeves. Fran also occasionally assisted the Mockingbird with her vocal talents.
Fran has a CD available through her website called 9songs. funnily enough, it has nine songs on it. More recordings will be available as soon as they're finished.

Geranium Lake
Geranium Lake are a weird mix of musical styles and lifestyles. The former rhythm section of Tequila Mockingbird (Gail and Roy) are backing Geronimo Blake and his, er, iconoclastic guitar style. T.P. Egar, a man so camp they threw him out of the Mormons, sings and picks fights with audience members. He is a fully qualified bus driver.
The band don't play that often, but when they do their gigs are invariably sold out. At the moment, they have just finished recording something. It might even be some music. CDs are now available from disreputable music shops everywhere.

Sandy Nelson
Sandy Nelson is an actor, musician and comedian with a foul mouth and a stupid beard. His first solo fringe show, 'Sandy Nelson - Bedroom Popstar' at The Stand in Edinburgh, was met with acclaim by the critics and shouts of derision by his family. That's actually a good thing - you'd have to meet his family in order to understand. He plays Chris the Postie from BBC's Still Game.
Sandy plays music as part of his comedy routine, but he is also a serious musician, playing guitar, mandolin, banjo, accordion, harmonica, bass guitar and percussion in addition to singing. Sandy has appeared in many productions by the late lamented Wildcat Theatre Company, as well as various television and film roles. Yes, he is that dead bloke from Braveheart.

Helen Reeves
Helen Reeves is a diminutive antipodean singer songwriter and musician. Sometimes she has a band. Sometimes she does not.
Until nineteen ninety-seven, Helen was a right-handed guitarist. She had an accident which resulted in her having at least part of all four fingers amputated from her left hand. Undaunted, she picked up a left-handed guitar and learned to play that instead. Some talents can not be kept down.
Helen has an album called Six Feet Up available via her website. Helen won a Danny Kyle award in 2002, and she played with Stacey Earle amongst others at the Celtic Connections Festival in 2003. E-mail her here for details of upcoming gigs.
