I recently graduated as a mature student from Strathclyde University with a 2:1 honours degree in Psychology. I am interested in working in the field of substance abuse and addiction, and once I have dealt with the parlous state of my finances following four years of living on a student loan, I intend to pursue post-graduate study.
I am currently working as a support worker for a Scottish charity called Penumbra in a rehabilitation project for people suffering with alcohol-related brain damage, specifically Korsakoff-Wernicke's syndrome. This should give me some relevant clinical experience to back up my academic qualifications.
